Murrusaki is part of a clan called the "tsuki" clan. Which means moon in Japanese. In this clan it's customary that every family within the tsuki has a spirit of a wolf protecting it. This spirit or ghost is taken from a real life wolf and then housed inside the elder of that family with a special jitsu. This elder can that freely call upon the power of this wolf for enhanced scenes, greater speed and more strength.
